Creation of Marquage Antivol Sherlock Inc

First vehicle marked on May 11, 1983

1988

Construction of the company’s headquarters in Longueuil

1989

Winner of the Dominique Rollin Award for the best service company

2002

The Sherlock Intensive Antitheft Marking named as the first rank of car theft protection systems

According to a publication by Protégez-vous editions in collaboration with the GAA

2007

Revitalization of the company’s brand image and logo

2010

Sherlock launches its first consumer advertising campaign.

2010

The SPVM’s information centre now provides its patrol units with direct access to the Sherlock’s database.

A first in North America. The Saint-Jérôme Police Service and the City of Longueuil agglomeration police will follow suit as well.

2014

Sherlock unveils an actuarial study confirming the effectiveness of its product, Intensive Antitheft Marking™

2020

Introduction of a new security product: the OBD Protector

The OBD Protector is patented in Canada and provides an additional layer of protection to prevent thieves from duplicating vehicle keys.

2022

Commercialization of KYCS Locate in Quebec.

In collaboration with KYCS Global, Sherlock introduces to insurers and consumers the most innovative recovery device on the market: KYCS Locate.

2023

Sherlock celebrates its 40th anniversary!
