- CONTACT THE POLICE. If your vehicle equipped with a KYCS Locate is stolen, please report the theft to the local forces of the city/village where the theft took place. You must always call the police first.
- Contact KYCS by phone or internet, with your police-issued event number and vehicle information.
- By phone: call 1-866-800-4111.
- Online: go to the site of kycs.ca and then click “Report a theft” under the Contact tab, enter the requested information and click on Send.
- The KYCS investigation team immediately starts searching for and locating your vehicle.
- The police forces are proceeding with the recovery and return of your vehicle.
